A few ground rules.

OurLater is a place to keep ideas and links. The service is operated by Abdul Hakim Zatar. These terms cover use of OurLater and this journal.

Your account and content

OurLater is intended for people aged 13 and older. Use an email address you control and keep passwords and sign-in codes private. Only add content you have permission to use. You retain your rights to your content; providing it to the app permits the processing needed to store and display it to the people you choose to share with.

Use with care

Do not use OurLater to upload unlawful content, harass others, access someone else’s account or interfere with the service. Journal articles are general planning ideas. Check opening times, prices, accessibility, availability and safety directly with a venue or provider before making plans.

Other services

Linked sites, films, songs and social posts belong to their respective owners. Their availability and playback rules are controlled by those services. A saved link does not grant a license to copy or redistribute the original content. Where Google Maps previews are enabled, your use of those features is also subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Terms of Service.

OurLater Plus subscriptions

OurLater includes free features. Where available, optional Plus subscriptions provide Our Story monthly timelines and additional photo storage and allowances. One plan covers the purchaser and their currently paired OurLater partner; this is OurLater partner coverage, not Apple Family Sharing. On unpairing, the purchaser keeps their subscription and the former partner loses that shared Plus access unless they have their own plan. The app shows the benefits and current limits before purchase.

Weekly, monthly and yearly plans automatically renew until canceled. The store shows the localized price, billing period and applicable taxes before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google Play payment method. No public free trial is included unless the store explicitly offers one. Any store-issued promotion shows its free or discounted period and subsequent renewal terms before confirmation.

Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. To avoid another charge, cancel before the renewal deadline shown by the store; Apple advises at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Cancellation normally leaves access available until the paid period ends. Refund requests follow the store’s policies and any applicable consumer rights. Restore purchases in OurLater while signed into the original OurLater account and purchasing store account.

Removing the app, deleting your OurLater account or stopping partner sharing does not cancel the store subscription. Cancel separately with the store. When Plus ends, existing saved ideas, photos, notes and previously created monthly stories remain accessible; free limits apply to new additions and new stories require Plus. Export remains available.

For iOS, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

Availability and changes

Any pricing changes will be presented through the relevant store before they apply. Features and external previews may change. Keep a separate copy of anything irreplaceable. These terms do not remove rights that applicable law gives you.

Ending use and contacting us

You may stop using OurLater at any time. Removing the app does not delete your account. See account deletion and our privacy policy. Questions can be sent to support@ourlater.com.
